• jrittenhouse's recent entry here on the country-western song written and highway billboard erected by a Florida conservative who wants people to believe that Democrats allowed the 9/11 attacks to happen...and that voting Democrat will bring more such death and destruction.
   
• mdlbear's entries here on the just-announced effort by the Bush Regime to have contraception declared legally equivalent to abortion for purposes of federal grants; and here on the Congressional effort to close a tax loophole for the Kohlberg Kravis Robertses of the world.
   
• And finally, the FISA debacle of last week, in the wake of which the American Civil Liberties Union has filed suit to overturn the new law eviscerating the Fourth Amendment and is taking out a full-page ad in tomorrow's New York Times with the names of citizens supporting their lawsuit.
